History

Childhood

Jacqueline Underwood was born in a Blue Sun Corporation space station that orbits high above Osiris' atmosphere, in the Core. In exchange for providing everything needed to live, the inhabitants would work for the Blue Sun corporation from birth until death. All children are vigorously tested to find the optimum career path. In the case of Jacqueline, that was the field of medicine, where she excelled in her classes, easily qualifying for the premed program...

Dual Identities

However, the tests that Jacqueline took also revealed a bit of a harder edge to her. While she was training in medicine, she was also training to be an assassin and covert agent for the Blue Sun Corporation. Jacqueline grew to be quite cold-blooded, having been raised by the Blue Sun Corporation and being utterly devoted to that cause. Mainly because with the deaths of her parents while she was in medical school, they were the only family that she had.

The War

During the War, Jacqueline kept herself busy working for the Blue Suns, occasionally entering into a foray based on whoever could pay her corporate masters the most. On one such mission, however, she was assigned to terminate a target... that turned out to be a thirteen year old girl. She then rebelled against the mission, ensuring that the girl was smuggled back to the rebels, and eliminating the witnesses to her betrayal of the Corporation.

After the War

Jacqueline tendered her resignation with that last mission, taking with her the prototype weapon that was being developed for field agents. Vanishing into the Black, she took the name "Sarah Lee" and began work as a back-alley doctor, making a meager living from planet to planet as she tried to ensure that the Blue Suns wouldn't be able to track her down out of revenge. Occasionally, depending on the situation, she still performs a sanction, because there are many ways to help people. Sometimes you heal them, sometimes you kill dangerous people. Either way helps.

O Hide in Plain Sight: Spend 1 PP to reroll a die when you’re being pursued. On your next roll, both 1s and 2s count for Complications.
O Guilt by Association: Gain 1 PP each time your actions cause your fellow Crewmembers to become targets for whoever it is that’s chasing you.

Highly experimental, she destroyed the research notes about it and took it with her as a retirement gift for time given. Over time she's grown quite attached to the pistol, particularly given that it seems to be almost impossible to detect...

O Armor Piercing: When firing upon a vehicle or someone in cover, spend 1 PP to step up or double Shoot for the action.
O How Can You Hide That?!?: Sarah can spend 1 PP and withdraw Supernova from 'hiding', even if she was previously searched by a GMC and determined not to have a weapon.
